I was very interested to see you have Bang & olufsen radio :-

model:
Beolit

type:
TR 700 TYPE 1301 serie 04
I also have this radio which I have had from new in 1970 I think when I was age 17 and I have used daily ever since.
It has served me well.It has great sentimental value as my father (who died way back in 1973), helped me buy it.

It has travelled with me through my days at university. Now it is in the kitchen and my children and wife listen to it daily.

Unfortunately the plastic case is gradually cracking. Do you know where I may find components (mainly it needs a new case) for this radio set?

The securing point for the FM aerial has broken. I am keen to buy a Beolit 600 (the one with the coloured cases) if I can find one.

I think the design and audio quality of these sets is excellent. Being an electronics engineer and software consultant by profession, I understand the quality of these radios.

It is a pity B & O do not produce radios like this now.

Is the 700 on your website for sale?

I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards

Hi Asger, Thanks for the compliment. Nice to meet a fellow radiofan from Danmark.
I shall put a link at my site of yours. I have some radios double, so if you
are interested let me know, do not worry about high prices, I keep them as low
as possible, because we are collectors not traders. Also visit our radio forum regulary, its really interesting and you can add postings yourself as well. Success with collecting!

Kind regards,

  Hi Asger,
Like you, I'm a collector of portable radios from fifties/sixties I've recently found on a fleamarket a L3X88T ( very similar to your L3X80T I guess), and I'm looking for either schematic. I will gladly exchange it with schematics of your interest in my possession
Thanks in advance
